The Fire of Inquiry

Think of all the great words and great teachings as your deadly enemy.  Avoid them, because you have to find your own source. You have not to be a  follower, an imitator. You have to be an original individual; you have to find  your innermost core on your own, with no guide, no guiding scriptures.

It is a  dark night, but with the intense fire of inquiry you are bound to come to the  sunrise. Everybody who has burned with intense inquiry has found the sunrise. Osho

Belief is a tangent on the road to truth. It is static knowledge and only serves to anchor you into another’s version of reality. Life is a vibrant creation and is ALWAYS changing. Therefore, a belief may no longer be  necessarily true.

At some point you come to the awareness that you must tap into your own certainty. Masters and sages  can point you to the path of exploration, but you alone must embark on the journey.

The aloneness that is required is not to be engaged with lament. Quite the contrary, it is in this adventure that you come to know the magnitude of your being. That’s not to say that there won’t be moments of uncertainty, discomfort and fear, that’s guaranteed as you release the illusion of assumed beliefs. However, a powerful authority will arise within you from your transcendence of surface reality.

This aloneness cannot be circumvented. There are no short cuts, cliff notes or companions. It is only through direct experience that you  come to KNOW the truth of who you really are.
