Question Your Quandary

Change occurs in the twinkling of an eye.

To shift perspective you just need to question the quandary in which you find yourself . . . curiously. Searching for answers out there some where, only leads you through a maze of malaise. Feel the corner of your mouth lifting yet?

As much maligned as change seems, it is actually the solid underpinning of much of what is unequivocably true. Your breath mirrors this constancy of  change: from external to internal, in the ex-change of material elements and in the collaborative concert of your body in each breath. Notice that no two breaths are alike. The gaps and pauses are longer on some, the inhale is deeper on others and the exhale can be a sigh, a sound or an outward gush of air. Something as simple and magical as your breath contains infinite permutations.

Now, back to the quandary. What if instead of crossing your eyes in perplexed frustration you explored the gaps, the rhythms, the conscious concert, the infinite permutations? What if you curiously explored the pathways, lightly, as if you were on a grand adventure . . . reveling in the sensations of the exotic unknown?

Question the quandary. Change occurs in the twinkling of an eye.

Thank you for this wisdom. It is Divine!

A few years ago, when I felt really stuck, I heard the following: “The solution is in the problem. The problem IS the solution.”
Each time I’ve heard this, it has struck me with its amazing wisdom, and so often, I forget, and “rail against” the current “problem” whatever it is.
Being able to breathe the changes has enabled me to get to a place of interested curiosity (rather than stuck frustration) and find the wisdom in what “is”.

    Thank you!

Love it, John! “The problem IS the solution.” Indeed. And it is what moves us into expansion, into more of who we are capable of being. It’s all about creating the new, disguised as ‘this thing I must deal with.’

Refreshing to shift the perspective, to the flow of ‘what is.’ Thanks for chiming in.

Thank you, Judy, for adding your energy to the delicious mix. Perfect is a continuum and we can bask in the beauty of right now and gift grace into the world, especially our own.

Hello – i know I’m a bit behind the time, but i only get to listen to the replays, her from South Africa.
Have so enjoyed these ‘spaces’ with you Adela and all the others.

Thought i’d share this poem by Alice Walker.

    Reassurance

    I must love the questions
    themselves
    as Rilke said
    like locked rooms
    full of treasure
    to which my blind
    and groping key
    does not yet fit.

    and await the answers
    as unsealed
    letters
    mailed with dubious intent
and written in a very foreign
    tongue.

    and in the hourly making
    of myself
    no thought of Time
    to force, to squeeze
    the space
    I grow into.

for me, there is such wealth to be found in these spaces you create for us.
    Thank you!
