The Evolutionary Moment

I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something that I can do. Helen Keller

Every moment offers an opportunity to engage potential. You can walk around clueless and bemoan the circumstances and conditions of your life, or you can awaken to the power that is your birthright and clearly be the creator of your daily experience. It doesn’t matter what it is . . .

… an uncomfortable exchange with members of your family
… feeling like you’re not making enough money
… frustration with commuting to your job
… a misunderstanding with a dear friend
… the special dish that  just didn’t turn out right

In any day, there are countless portals to possibility. You are the source creator of every moment and every experience that seems ‘less than’ what you desire is an opportunity to shift your awareness, and consequently co-create your world.

What are the signposts to an evolutionary moment?

  • Your energy feels diminished, constricted.
  • Slipping into emotions that zap your zest.
  • Cutting yourself off from your sources of joy.
  • Your mind is cluttered, confused and chaotic
  • Your body feels heavy and sluggish or wound up and tight.

Suffering is an old paradigm experience. Choice delivers you from the battlefield of bullshit, especially your own. This may sound harsh, but truly, ‘the buck stops here.’ Planetary evolution is a natural consequence of personal evolution. If you want to make the world a better place, start with YOU!

If you don’t awaken, no one can do it for you. Choose this moment as the opening to the new. Choose this moment as the opening to you. Just choose!
